Ninja - Silent but Deadly is a new meta-game published by ButtonShyGames designed by Benjamin Gerber.
The game is prank delivering system, the game plays like this - at the beginning of the night, players each get a ninja card and before the end of the night they need to get that card to someone else. It needs to be sneaky, where you place it into a book and they open the book and get the card. Or inside of cards from another game. The game can take one night or many months.
North South East Quest is a new storytelling game by ButtonShyGames. I was hired to make the graphics and illustrations. The game got sucsessfully funded on Kickstarter in August 2015.
Memory (or Minnis-stæður) is a simple memory game. Lay the tiles face down on a surface and then take turns flipping two of the tiles around, trying to find matching tiles.
I decorated the game with pictures of my cats. In some of the pictures I drew them according to their nickname, for example The Pillow, Princess Half-tail and Christmas-Ball. I published and printed it myself.

WonderWars is a card game where the goal is to preserve our world heritage. It can be difficult as some of your playmates (or yourself) can be a traitor who is secretly trying to foil the mission. The gameplay is made by Thomas Vigild for UNESCO.

Socks of Chaos
Socks of Chaos is a family game for 2-3 players I created in my study at Denmark's Design School.
All the socks got mixed together in the washing machine so now it's time to pair them. The player that matches the most pairs wins! This game is only a prototype.
Two to four players embark on an underwater expedition in submarines trying to find unexplored and rare sea creatures. In order to win you must discover creatures that are more extraordinary than your fellow explorers. The ocean has strong currents and you must steer your submarine with the flow to find the sea creatures. After everybody has moved their submarines, the ocean currents change! The player with the highest valued sea creatures in the end WINS!
The inspiration for the metaphor came from 20.000 Leagues Under the Seas (1870), written by Jules Verne. For the sea and the sea creature tokens I looked at old maps from a time when beliefs of monsters and extraordinary creatures reigned. I found two maps very fitting, one of Iceland called Abraham Ortelious Islandia, drawn around the year 1590 and the other the earliest map of the Nordic countries known of, called Carta Marina, drawn over a 12 year period in the 16th century . This game is only a prototype.
Samburu is a board game for 2-4 players with a playing time of about 30 minutes. The goal of the game is to maneuver your giraffe in the savannah and be the first one to pick one fruit from each tree. The trick is that your giraffe needs to be the same height as the tree to be able to pick the fruit.
The game is my master project from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The premise of the project was to combine paper folding techniques and board games. In Samburu the giraffes' necks and the trees are made with a paperfold which can be raised or lowered. The graphics are inspired by the colorful bead-art of the Kenyan tribe Samburu. The game is only a prototype.
In February 2014 I participated in The Nordic Game Jam. Game Jam is an event where you can join a team to make a game in 48 hours.
I made graphics for a team that had an idea for a board game called Hungover. The concept was that you wake up after a night out and don't remember what you did last night but your friends know what you did. Since time was very limited I made the graphics very simple. I then used a provided laser cutter to make all the components and the board. This game is a prototype.
